Who We are

The Clinical Research Unit of the Isaias Institute is a private clinical research institution, located in Porto Alegre/RS, Brazil, with over 40 years of experience. We were the first private research center to be recognized by CONEP (National Research Ethics Commission). Our mission is to conduct clinical trials with responsibility, technical excellence, and complete data integrity. We have extensive experience in all stages of trials, from protocol development to the management of all trial phases. In addition, we act as a Contract Research Organizations (CRO). Our database comprises approximately 4,000 potential volunteers from our clinic. The evaluation and approval of new trials by the team, through analysis of the protocol, occurs, on average, in 10 days. Our average selection failure rate is 12%, while the dropout is 14%. The average time for budget review and approval is 10 days.
